That reel on being scared to make mistakes got me thinking again. We all know the th sound trips Koreans up but if folks understand you then it worked right. Just speak and fix it later, nobody waits for perfect.

말하기를 두려워하지 말라는 점은 실전 연습에 도움이 된다고 봅니다. 다만 문장 구조를 분석해 보면 'if folks understand you'라는 표현은 의미 전달의 하한선일 뿐이며, 1. 동사 'discuss'는 전치사 없이 목적어를 직접 취하고 2. 'about' 추가는 격식 없는 구어체로 register를 낮춥니다. 중요한 계약서나 면접에서는 그 미세한 뉘앙스 차이가 의미를 바꿀 수 있습니다.
