is it really that bad if i drop "the"?

tbh i see soooo many posts here stressing over articles and plurals and i get it, they matter. but ive had whole conversations where i skipped "the" or forgot an -s and people understood me just fine. if you got your point across, thats a win in my book. keep talking, youll pick it up naturally.
