CSAT English whiplash: what message are we sending?

The September 2026 mock CSAT pushed top-grade rate to 15.54% while the June mock sat at 4.13% — nearly a fourfold swing in three months. This does not reflect a genuine improvement in Korea's English level; it reflects inconsistent test design that punishes students who prepared for the harder standard. If the actual CSAT cannot maintain a stable difficulty curve, the exam loses its validity as a measure of English competence.
