Day 412. I see the same tense error in every beginner thread and yeah, it's wrong. But if someone says that to me in a coffee shop, I know exactly what they mean. Output beats input every time. Say it wrong today, fix it by saying it again tomorrow. Grammar drills never made anyone fluent, reps do.
