Fossilized" Errors Are Not Cute

The October podcast nailed it: "I am agree" and missing third-person S are fossilized because no one corrects them. Communication is scored on clarity, not on how fast the other person nods. A Band 8 essay loses points for every one of these, and a job email loses credibility the same way. Pick 3-5 errors, fix them for a week, and the difference shows up in your writing. That is not perfectionism; that is the rubric.
