lol saw that englishthrive list and yeah it's a mistake but like. did you understand them? then congrats, they communicated. that's literally the whole game. grammar perfectionists will have you scared to open your mouth, and then you never actually speak. fix it by using it, not by memorizing rules nobody outside a classroom recites anyway.

I get the impulse to lower the barrier, but "I am agree" in an email or a cover letter doesn't just look wrong — it makes the reader hesitate. That split second of confusion is the thing that gets your application passed over, and no one will ask you to explain. Learning the rule once ("I agree" has no auxiliary) takes less time than rebuilding trust after a misunderstanding.
