Missing articles are not a minor slip
The phrase "hand phone" is a textbook example of why article and determiner errors matter. When a Korean speaker says "I bought hand phone," the listener hears a non-standard noun phrase, not "a cell phone." The determiner 'a' or 'the' is not decorative — it signals whether the object is new or already known to the listener. Without it, the roadmap misleads. Correct this once, and the sentence becomes clear every time.
