Flat intonation is not a minor issue

The claim that prosody is secondary to grammar mistakes like missing articles fails to account for how English listeners process speech. When every word receives equal stress, the listener cannot distinguish the key point from the supporting detail, which creates the same kind of misunderstanding as a missing article. Drill the pitch peak on the right word, shrink the function words, and let the voice fall at the end of a statement; these three moves alone will make a Korean speaker far more intelligible than perfect article usage on a flat line.
